Stay grounded; be true to yourself and the Earth around you. Be humble, be confident, believe in yourself. One thing I’ve learned in my 19 years is to never give up on yourself, no matter what. If you start to, change. Always be able to count on yourself. Yoga has helped me open the door into myself; it has helped me gain confidence and, better yet, believe in myself. It has led me down a path in my life that I plan to stay on. Day 4 of my @yogajournal asana book challenge is Ardha Chandrasana (half moon pose pictured on top) and Parivrtta Baddha Ardha Chandrasana (revolved bound half moon pose). I had some trouble with the revolved bound half moon pose, it was very hard for me to balance in that position. But one day I’ll be able to get it, it’s all a process.
